Linz 2009 takes stock

After a successful year of being European Capital of Culture in 2009, Linz has published an account of the ECoC work on their website.  Here is a little teaser of facts for you:

• More than 7 700 events were organised
• These events attracted 2.8m visitors
• The city of Linz saw an increase of 11.4% in overnight stays (between Jan and Oct 2009)
